We Install Geomembranes
HDPE, LLDPE y LDPE.
HDPE Geomembrane Installation
Thanks to their flexibility and the possibility of pre-welding, geomembranes can be supplied in large panels of up to 1000 m2. Application in tailings lining for mining, water storage ponds, parapet lining, etc. HDPE, LDPE or LLDPE geomembranes. Roccflex has its own equipment necessary to carry out the quality control of the work in order to guarantee a high quality service.

HDPE Geomembrane Installation Method: Wedge Fusion
At Roccflex, we specialize in hot wedge welding for waterproofing, a widely used process for joining geosynthetics, geotextiles, and geomembranes. This technique ensures that seams are of the same material as the waterproofing, ensuring a solid and durable bond.
When installing geomembranes and geosynthetics, three factors are crucial: temperature, speed, and pressure. The combination of these determines the quality of the weld.
Hot wedge welding works through two rollers through which the geosynthetics to be welded must pass. In this process, it is crucial to consider the ambient temperature, as it determines the level of heat required for effective welding, as well as the welding speed. For example, colder weather requires a slower welding speed, as the material can cool down before compromising the quality of the bond.
At Roccflex, we have specialized and certified machinery, along with highly trained operators with extensive experience in hot wedge welding processes, adapting variables to the material characteristics and specific environmental conditions, which together ensure optimal results in each project.
